Peter Roosenboom: SMEs need to innovate the way they finance themselves

Small and medium enterprises are the engines of growth in an economy. But as the sector is characterised by stricter loan conditions, banks are reluctant to lend funds to SMEs. For many SMEs seeking finance, traditional borrowing methods aren’t suitable anymore.
