Colon cancer : the clinical significance of molecular biomarkers

15-20% of patients with stage II colon cancer will develop recurrence of disease after curative surgery. The aim of this thesis was to identify biomarkers in colon cancer tissue at any molecular level that may help to identify these patients, thereby enabling a more personalized treatment.
