We thank Dr. Zheng-tao Lv for his interest in and remarks on our article. We share an interest in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture, which remains a very common and severe knee injury with high costs and devastating clinical consequences, such as osteoarthritis. We encourage articles and discussions regarding genetic predisposition to ACL rupture to improve our knowledge on this subject. [...]
