When asked by your Editor to render an opinion in the apparently diametrically opposing points of view by Frohlich and Sutter, my first reaction was: Here we go again! Hasn't there been enough discussion on the role of cholesterol in atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease'?
Yet, the very fact that the polemics continue indicates that not all investigators look at all sides of the problem. Rather it suggests that vociferous proponents favour a strongly biased opinion, rather than acknowledging the gaps in their reasoning. [...]
