De betekenis van STATs in primaire immuundeficiƫntie ziekten: Moleculaire diversiteit en de gevolgen voor behandeling
Signal transducer and activator of transcription molecules (STATs) are messenger molecules that play a very important role in the function of cells. Dysfunction of these STATs leads to an immunodeficiency disorder and/or autoimmunity. This was studied in detail in the dissertation on the basis of patients with a genetic mutation in the STAT1 and STAT3 gene.
