The aim of this thesis was to explore the impact and prevention of fall-related injuries among older adults.
This was accomplished by focusing on three topics: the burden of fall-related injury and mortality among older adults, the cost-effectiveness of falls prevention interventions, and the conditions for successful implementation of falls prevention in a community setting.
