In de discussie over het pensioenstelsel worden veel macro-economische misvattingen gedebiteerd. De gedachte dat de overheid moet opdraaien voor de onzekerheid in de pensioenen is macro-economisch gezien onjuist. De toezichthouder is redeloos, de volksvertegenwoordiging is radeloos, maar de pensioenfondsen zijn geenszins roekeloos.
