The aim of this thesis is three-fold:
first, to provide better insight into the etiology of childhood Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM);
second, to evaluate the contribution of temporal evolution of risk factors in predicting adverse outcome, and
third, to improve treatment of children across the clinical spectrum of DCM
