Vorderingen in epidemiologisch onderzoek van tandglazuur hypomineralisatie en tandcariƫs
This thesis focuses on the epidemiology of dental enamel hypomineralization and dental caries. Most important findings are the association between enamel hypomineralization and the bone mass, that there are great disparities in caries experience among children, that there is little evidence for a genetic component in the etiology of dental caries, and that there is a new validated method for dental enamel hypomineralization and caries assessment for research purposes.
