Uvea melanomas (UM) are rare tumors of the eye, they are, nevertheless, associated with significant morbidity and mortality. In the first part of this thesis, we describe the prognostic value of clinical and histopathologic characteristics, locoregional anatomic factors, and chromosomal alterations in UM. The second part of this thesis illustrates the treatment outcome and quality of life of patients with UM.
