The incidence of liposarcomas in the head and neck region is extremely low. Treatment of choice is radical surgery. However, in the head and neck region, complete eradication is not always possible. The biological indolent character of some sarcomas justify a macroscopic radical and organ-sparing technique. This article describes a patient with a liposarcoma of the upper oesophagussfincter in which a multistage flexible endoscopic debulking is performed.
