This time we decided to focus more closely on cheap, easy, yet delicious recipes that can be and in many cases, have been, prepared in the communal kitchens of the student hostels. We know that some wonderful food is produced in there. We have sampled many delicious dishes at the International Day and at programme parties over the years. We were curious to know just how these dishes are prepared. What effect does the mixing of cultures have on the food produced? We also wanted stories about how the dishes came into being and interesting anecdotes about what happens in the kitchen.
