Abstract

This article is a case study of National School of Public Administration – ENAP, whose the objective was to study the way which is managed the creation, transfer, and share of the organizational knowledge (NONAKA e TAKEUCHI, 1997). The study used three research methods, as follows: participative observation, interview, and documental analysis. The documental analysis checked the turnover out during the years of 2000 and 2005 and the interviews and the participative observations in loco collaborated with the qualification of occurred events. The debate around the conversion of tacit and explicit knowledge within an environment turnover presupposes at least the use of Information Technology to minimization of the loss of the knowledge (SILVA e NEVES, 2004; DAVENPORT e PRUSAK, 1998). The findings have some limitations, however the relevance of data, analysis and literature point out the importance of the knowledge management and Information Technology within the organizations nowadays.
