Introduction
An analysis of the moral values and norms connected with sustainability and the construction of what I shall simply call a morality of sustainability are important first steps. The next step, however, is to get this morality implemented. How can we make sure that citizens adapt their behaviour? How can society at large become more sustainable? A quite natural answer to these questions is to say that the law should enforce the norms and values connected with sustainability.
