Treatment of malignant lentigo

We present a 73 year old female patient with lentigo maligna on her cheek. After she objected to surgical treatment for this lesion, we treated her with ablative lasertherapy and subsequent treatment with imiquimod once daily, five days a week, for a period of 6 weeks. She remains free of recurrence 8 months after treatment.
