Crew resource management and patient safety culture in pediatrics

This article explains the relevance of non-technical skillstraining for paediatric (para)medical professionals and focuses on the aviation-based Crew Resource Management (CRM) training format. CRM became very effective in aviation and has clear potential for the medical domain. Future developments and the need for standardization are discussed.
