Fumarates are approved for the systemic treatment of moderate and severe psoriasis vulgaris. Several case reports and studies point out the efficacy and safety of treatment with fumarates in granulomatous and inflammatory skin disorders. We describe two patients, one with discoid lupus erythematosus and one with lupus erythematosus tumidus. The skin diseases were effectively controlled with the use of fumarate therapy.
