This chapter is organized as follows:
First I will summarize the existing literature on corporate deterrence. The research design and methodology will then be described.
The following three sections present the results of this study and connect the findings with the particularities of the case study, the waste industry in the Netherlands.
The final section summarizes and discusses the findings and sets out the implications, particularly for regulatory policy.
