In the published article we unintentionally missed to provide references to study #4 (see Table 1). The source data of study #4 werekindly provided by the TRAILS consortium (Rosmalen et al., 2005).
Accordingly the author list has been amended by including Judith G.M. Rosmalen and Albertine J. Oldehinkel, who implemented andsupervised the data collection and data management in TRAILS. More information about the TRAILS cohort profile is reported in Oldehinkelet al. (2015).
