This thesis aimed to study systematically, the effectiveness of the different types of interventions used for persistent ankle complaints after an ankle sprain.
Additionally we aimed to investigate the association between persistent complaints after an ankle sprain and possible structural abnormalities found on radiography and MRI and whether these are associated with characteristics from anamnesis and physical examination.
